The calculators

Nothing you type into a calculator — gauge, area, yarn weight, or anything else — ever leaves your device. The math happens locally in your browser, with no server round-trip involved, so there's nothing to store, log, or lose. Close the tab and it's gone.

Analytics

Like most websites, we use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages get used, in aggregate, so we can prioritize what to build or fix next. This does not include anything you type into a calculator.

Advertising

Some pages carry site advertising, served by a third-party advertising network. That network may use cookies or similar technology as described in its own privacy policy, standard for web advertising generally.

Contact and payment information

If you contact us through the contact form, we receive whatever you choose to include in your message. If you make a purchase or donation, payment is processed by our payment provider directly — we do not receive or store your full card details ourselves.

Meaningful changes to this policy will always be reflected in the "updated" date above — check there if you're wondering whether anything's changed since you last read it.
