Project Planner Pack

$9.99

Delivered by email within 24 hours of purchase — a 17-page PDF, sent to the email address you check out with. Manual fulfilment, not an automated download link.

Every calculator on StitchHow stays free — this pack is a separate, printable companion for planning and tracking projects away from a screen, not a paywalled version of anything the site already gives away. None of it exists as a free page on the site: the trackers, log, and worksheet are original printable forms, and the reference tables are a compact offline snapshot of this site's own data.

What's in the 17-page PDF

  • Gauge Swatch Log — 2 sheets. One row per swatch (date, yarn, needle/hook, stitches and rows per inch, whether it was blocked, notes) so you can compare several swatches for the same project side by side.
  • Project Tracker — 6 blank sheets. One per project: name, pattern/source, yarn, weight, colour, skeins needed, needle/hook, gauge, size, and cast-on count, plus an 8-item progress checklist and a notes section.
  • Yarn Substitution Worksheet — 1 sheet. Compare a pattern's called-for yarn against a candidate substitute (fibre, weight category, yardage, gauge, recommended hook/needle) side by side, plus space to record the total yardage and skein count from the Yarn Quantity Estimator.
  • Sizing charts. Baby & child (9 sizes) and adult (7 sizes) body-measurement bands — 16 size rows in total, printed for offline reference.
  • Needle & hook conversion. The full 23-row US/metric/UK(old) knitting-needle table and the full 17-row US/metric crochet-hook table.
  • Yarn weight & put-ups. All 8 standard CYC weight categories with typical skein yardages.
  • Quick formula reference. The cast-on rounding rule, the gauge-conversion ratio, the even-shaping rule, and this site's own stitch-pattern yarn-consumption constants — the same rules behind every live calculator, written out so you can work through them without a screen.

What it is not

It is not a substitute for the live calculators — the reference pages are a snapshot for offline use, not a way to get a project-specific number without running your own inputs through the tools. Every page is designed for personal, single-household printing: photocopy or re-print a tracker or log sheet for each new project rather than treating the PDF as single-use.
